Russia- Business Council was established by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in 1998.
The Russian- Business Council consists of more than 50 Russian major companies and banks, provides practical assistance to Russian entrepreneurs and business in the development of multi-vector trade, economic and investment cooperation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The Russia- Business Council is implementing a project-based approach for the further development of economic cooperation. The Russia- Business Council’s Project Office coordinates the expertise, resources and initiatives of the business community for the joint implementation of trade, investment and innovation projects.
The Russia- Business Council is one of the mechanisms of the -Russia Dialogue Partnership.
The partner organizations of the -Russia Business Council are the Business Advisory Council with a secretariat in Jakarta (Indonesia) and the Business Club with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The Business Council also established interaction with the Moscow Committee (ambassadors of countries accredited in Russia) and regional and industry business associations of countries.
